Embracing a New Journey

We are excited to share a significant new chapter in our missionary journey. We have recently joined the esteemed mission organization, International Messengers (IM). This step marks a new phase in our commitment to serving and fulfilling our calling with even greater fervor. Over the last several years, it has become more and more difficult to be “on our own” as independent missionaries. We believe this new partnership will help us continue into the future.

Continued Partnership with First Moore Baptist Church
It brings us immense joy that First Moore Baptist Church will continue to be our sending church. The unwavering support of our church family has been a cornerstone in our journey, and maintaining this partnership is vital for us.

Role of International Messengers
International Messengers will be instrumental in handling all organizational aspects of our mission endeavors. This includes crucial elements such as financial management, health insurance, missionary support, and guidance in both setting and achieving our ministry goals. Their expertise ensures a smooth and efficient pathway for us to focus on what truly matters – our mission work.

Upcoming Training and Commitments
In our commitment to growth, community building, and learning, we will be attending the IM onboarding/training in Libby, Montana, starting January 26th. We will be there for just over three months. During this period, Chris will maintain his professional role at Brilliant Web Works, ensuring continuity and stability.

Financial Contributions
Contributions can still be made through First Moore Baptist Church as usual. Rest assured, these funds will be redirected to us through IM, supporting our specific mission work. This method continues to honor the personal support relationship we’ve built with each of you.

You can give directly through International Messengers

Looking Ahead: Our Heart’s Desire
Our commitment to serving the Ukrainian community remains as strong as ever. We plan to return to full-time work with Ukrainians during the upcoming Summer. Our current plan leads us to Rotterdam, a city hosting thousands of Ukrainian refugees, including many from Brovary, whom we’ve previously served. Rotterdam, familiar to us through several past visits, holds a special place in our hearts. We will tell you details of what we will do there soon. Our ultimate desire is to return to Ukraine when the Lord calls us back. In the next couple of months (while we are in Montana), we will be able to finalize plans and we will keep you posted.

More Communication
One thing that we want to do more and better is communicating what is going on with us and the work. More communication will mean more prayer and more power. Thank you in advance for your desire to be involved and to pray.

The Malone Family Scripture for 2024
This is our scripture for the Malone Family for this year. We will pray these verses over our family and we will strive to live in accordance with them. We continue to follow Christ wherever He leads. There we find joy, peace, and contentment. If you pray for us, we invite you to pray in this direction as well.

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.” Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the Lord. So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure! -Psalm 32:8-11
